THADAM

We Believe that every child has the right to an inclusive & quality education

We promote free, equal access to quality education for all children – from early learning to secondary education. We work with children, their families, communities, wider society and governments, so that all children are able to get an education.

In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Knowledge Centre (Project Thadam) aims to address the educational gaps faced by children aged 5 to 15 in government schools within our community. With the shift to online learning exacerbating issues related to the lack of access to technology and internet facilities, many children have discontinued their education, engaging in child labour activities for a meagre daily wage. Our project employs the survey method to identify the actual victims of this crisis, categorising them based on age and educational background. The Knowledge Centre will serve as a hub for education, staffed by local volunteers and educated individuals seeking employment. This centre will provide not only academic support but also impart moral education, instilling values and good habits.
